As a Business Development Associate in Stamford, CT, you will be a valued member of Legg Mason’s Sales Team. Legg Mason is a leading global asset management firm with a distinctive “multi-affiliate” model providing clients with Equity, Fixed Income, Liquidity, and Alternatives solutions including mutual funds, college savings plans, variable annuities, and separately managed accounts.
The focus of the role is to provide business development support to the designated Regional Director (External Wholesaler) and work independently, with the Sales Team, or with other internal resources to structure successful and profitable relationships. You will employ highly focused, value-added selling techniques, drive relationships to increase Legg Mason gross and net sales, and improve asset retention within the client firms of your territory.
