Position Overview

ClearBridge is looking to add to their Investment Strategy Team. The ideal candidate has a background and strong interest in the global economy and financial markets. Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills are prerequisites, and the ability to learn on the job would allow for responsibilities to grow.

Key Responsibilities & Duties Include, but not Limited to

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the US equity markets and ClearBridge products
  • Perform market research in order provide useful market intelligence to the team
  • Provide insights into market and portfolios for the development of market commentaries and thought leadership pieces
  • Present to internal and external clients on ClearBridge’s viewpoint on the markets and portfolios
  • Work collaboratively with team members across the firm including sales, marketing, research and portfolio management

Ideal Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; CFA or advanced degree (or progress towards) preferred
  • 3-7 years of financial services experience
  • Knowledge and passion of U.S. equity markets
  • Strong analytical as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship management capabilities
  • Able to work multiple projects at the same time
  • Technologically proficient and experience using Bloomberg, Factset, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Flexible, resourceful and proactive
  • Licensed (Series 7)                
  • Ability to travel on occasion required (with more travel as role progresses)
