Position Overview

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be part of an established four-person team tasked with growing the Legg Mason brand and business in Australia and New Zealand.

 

In a small team, you will need to possess a 'can-do' approach and be able to work across multiple projects and disciplines. However, within our structure we also embed clear accountability and leadership and this role is to own, lead and shape our Digital, data and market segmentation goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties Include, but not Limited to

Digital:

 

Own our full digital strategy including:

 

- The Australian and New Zealand website

- Our Email marketing (EDM) strategy and delivery

- Our Social media strategy and delivery

- The interface and linkages with other group companies

- The end to end digital customer experience from prospecting to conversion to reporting

 

Data:

 

Working in partnership with our client, registry and sales teams and utilising our CRM system:

 

- Build a data strategy for all marketing and sales activities

- Create meaningful segmentation to improve service delivery and sales delivery

- Enable predictive analytics utilising our whole digital platform and global expertise 

 

Key accounts:

 

Working with the management team and sales personnel create and govern our processes around key accounts to ensure that:

 

- Each key account has a business strategy

- Each key account has a short/medium and long term plan

- Effective monitoring and measurement is set against objectives

- Build and develop relationships with external counterparts to enable broader distribution of Legg Mason capabilities

 

Other marketing activities:

 

You will work with the team and support/lead as required key projects including:

 

  • Events management
  • New Product launches
  • Training delivery to business

Ideal Qualifications and Experience

Relevant tertiary qualification

Digital and social media experience

EDM experience

Financial Service experience is preferable but not a requirement
