We are currently seeking a bright, enthusiastic Marketing Associate to join our Global Marketing team in Miami! You will play a key role in the production and delivery of marketing collateral for the International Sales teams covering the Americas (Miami, New York, and Chile).


Using MAC platforms, InDesign, and other software, you’ll be producing and updating fund commentaries and other fund materials, and uploading content across multiple websites. 

Key Responsibilities & Duties Include, but not Limited to

  • Assist in the production and updates to existing and new marketing collateral which includes mainly monthly and quarterly commentaries for core and non-core funds.
  • Assist in the production and updates to existing and new marketing collateral which includes mainly monthly and quarterly commentaries for core and non-core funds.
  • Updates to various marketing materials such as: Teleconference Q&A, Fund Highlights, Brochures, and Educational Guides, among others.
  • Manage fund fact sheet automation and fund updates (includes manual input into an automated system and proofreading information).
  • Upload selected content to multiple websites managed by LM Americas Offshore.
  • Proofread and coordinate information delivery for fund updates on the website.
  • On a monthly basis, coordinate fact sheet booklet printing & fulfillment with vendor.
  • Submit Marketing Material to Legg Mason compliance. On occasions, submit materials to dealers.
  • Keep marketing logs updated recording dealer approvals.
  • Special and ad hoc request from Marketing and Sales ' Includes supporting role for web related projects.
  • Manage the mailing of appropriate marketing and initiative kits. This includes support for sales by coordinating printing for Roadshows and Special events.
  • Work with printers to ensure that the final work is produced to a professional standard

Ideal Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Finance or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably Asset Management
  • High level of expertise in PowerPoint; able to build presentations using diagrams, graphs, etc. to communicate data effectively and informatively
  • Experience creating investment-related marketing materials
  • Comfortable with computer applications, specifically InDesign 
  • Experience working on MAC equipment platforms
  • Proofreading experience
