Position Overview

Our HR Strategy Solutions team is seeking a driven HR Employee Relations Partner to join the team in Downtown Baltimore (Harbor East). In this position, you will report to the Head of Employee Relations and engage as a trusted adviser and subject matter expert to coach employees and managers on sensitive work-related issues, including conflict resolution. 

 

Key Responsibilities & Duties Include, but not Limited to

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of company policy, culture and values, and makes recommendations to resolve complex employment-related matters
  • Partners with HR Business Partners to implement solutions
  • Provides coaching and development feedback to managers and employees
  • Provides rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs
  • Works with the business on highlighting key trends in employee relations and actively driving training, systems, and process improvements
  • Conducts internal investigations involving workplace conflicts or allegations of policy and/or legal violations; works to ensure issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved
  • Provides interpretation of human resource policies, rules, and processes
  • Partners with various functions within Human Resources (i.e. Analytics, Learning and Organizational Development, Compensation, HR Operations, Diversity and Inclusion) to execute business-specific HR strategies
  • Manages and supports internal projects and programs
  • Maintains and protects confidential data with great discretion, judgment, and professionalism
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 7+ years of professional work experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Human Resources, Employee Relations, or equivalent business-facing HR role
  • Significant combination of formal training and/or experience in conducting workplace investigations into employee concerns
  • Demonstrated knowledge, interpretation, and application of relevant HR best-practices, employment law standards, and workplace investigative protocols
  • Project management skills and proven ability to drive programs to implementation
  • Analytical and data management skills
