    We are looking for a highly independent, organised, and proactive accountant to join our business in our new office based in Dublin, Ireland! You will be responsible for providing financial support to the management team and also playing a key part in providing accurate, timely information whilst looking to improve current processes.  Your main role focuses on supporting the Head of Finance and taking ownership for Statutory & Regulatory reporting for the Irish Management Company and other holding companies as applicable.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Timely review of monthly reporting and associated financial pack for the Management Company undertaken by Corporate/Outsource Administrators suggesting where appropriate improvements to strengthen reporting and financial control.
    • Responsible for Accounts Payable Function – ensuring invoices are scanned to Corporate Disbursements for payment
    • Responsible for oversight of bank accounts and one off payments as approved by Senior Management.
    • Apply expert knowledge of financial concepts and principles to Regulatory Reporting and clearly document any conclusions reached.
    • Managing appropriate control systems with a suitable level of complexity to robustly avoid/resolve issues affecting financial reporting and management
    • Perform oversight of transfer pricing calculations/entries ensuring they are performed in accordance with transfer pricing methodology for all LM businesses as it pertains to the Management Company.
    • Review and implement corporate policies across Legal entities in Ireland.
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with internal/External regulatory & capital requirements, in accordance to CBI policies and procedures including preparing and reviewing returns
    • Working with Tax team on all tax & matters pertaining to the management company (corporation Tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing).
    • Preparation of the annual statutory accounts for Ireland, ensuring compliance with FRS102/local GAAP as required
    • Proactively manage relationship with Auditors
    • Assist in Audit planning and effectively manage queries during Audit to ensure smooth audit process for the legal entity including holding companies across all jurisdictions
    • Preparing Key financial information for Board review
    • Documentation of accounting policies and procedures including impact assessment of upcoming accounting standards changes
    • Improve efficiency and transparency of existing reporting through the use of IT solutions and enhanced processes.
    • Periodic review and update of risk registers
    • To provide assistance to the Head of Finance as required.
    • Ad hoc tasks as they arise.


    • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
    • Commercial experience of Excel/VB – can demonstrate understanding and experience of pivot tables, vlook ups.  Macros would be an advantage
    • Good systems knowledge. Experience of working with large scale, global, interactive accounting systems – preferably Workday and HFM.
    • Previous experience within similar role  
    • Advantageous to have worked in Financial Services
    • Proactive and able to work independently and suggest solutions to queries raised
    • Strong attention to detail as working in numerical and payment business environment
    • Ability to organise work around tight deadlines
    • Able to interact with customers and clients professionally and personably
