  • Position Overview

    If you have 7+ years' experience in OD, learning, and change management, we want to hear from you! Our global Human Resources department is hiring a Sr. Learning and Organization Development (OD) Consultant to join the People & Organizational Effectivess team.  In this exciting position, you will help to build organizational agility and change management capability for leaders and staff, enabling the rapid adoption of technology, process, organizational and job transformations. Additionally, you will leverage innovative and forward thinking approaches to establish and champion a learning culture and capability that directly supports short and long term organizational, leadership and human capital development needs. 

    This position may be based in Baltimore, MD or Stamford, CT.

    Key Responsibilities & Duties Include, but not Limited to

    • Consults with HR Business Partners and business leaders to assess leadership and workforce skills and capabilities against future needs, developing a high impact learning and development strategy for the global enterprise
    • Works with the Head of Talent Management and business leaders to asses and identify critical business and people issues associated with complex or large-scale change management projects and organizational initiatives, developing capabilities and tools to navigate through the change
    • Collaborates with the Head of Talent Management to create a strategic direction for learning that aligns to the overarching Talent Management strategy, identifying learning needs and appropriate solutions to meet those needs
    • Manages learning projects, from needs assessment through implementation and measurement
    • Leveraging knowledge and experience with leadership and management development, professional development, team effectiveness, coaching, change management and culture change in identifying learning and OD interventions
    • Utilizes modern and innovative approaches to learning, using blended learning solutions and platforms to provide high impact and sustained learning across the globe
    • Program manager of all vendor and internally led learning programs, including Leadership Development and Professional Development
    • Development of measurement strategies to assess effectiveness and ROI of learning and OD interventions
    • Vendor and learning content management
    • Some instructional design and training facilitation, when needed
    • Stays current on research and practices in learning, organization development and change management
    • Other duties as assigned

    Ideal Qualifications and Experience

    • Masters in Learning and Development, Organization Development, Adult Learning or Human Resources
    • 7 + years of Learning, Organization Development, and change management experience, including working with global, cross-functional high-level initiatives and large-scale projects
    • 3 + years instructional design and training delivery experience desired
    • Demonstrated knowledge of change management and innovative learning principles, methodologies and tools
    • Flexible and adaptable; able to work effectively in ambiguity
    • Resilient and able to work in a fast-paced work environment
    • Must be a team player with the ability to collaborate with and work through others
    • Requires the ability to work independently and be readily adaptable to changes in work priorities
    • Ability to work with ambiguity and within a changing and growing environment
    • Excellent verbal, written and facilitation skills are required
    • Consulting and project management experience preferred
    • MS Office proficiency required
    • Learning Management System (LMS) experience preferred
