  • Position Overview

    Legg Mason is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to join our growing organization. 


    In this role, you would look after three of our senior leaders by providing exceptional support with the utmost attention to detail. These leaders are the International Chief Marketing Officer, Head of International Product, and the Head of Alternatives Product. 

    Key Responsibilities & Duties Include, but not Limited to

    • Support three senior leaders with travel and accommodation bookings, expenses, and proactive day to day diary management.
    • Cover for Reception at lunchtime and as required at ad-hoc times.
    • Arrange team Offsites and events.
    • Assisting with ad-hoc Marketing and Product administration issues and ongoing projects.
    • Provide suggestions for improving processes to ensure smooth running of departments.
    • Supporting international guests with booking meetings when travelling to the London office
    • Take minutes at team meetings and provide cover for “EBU meeting” note taking when Receptionist on holiday.
    • Printing and Binding.
    • Photocopying

    Ideal Qualifications and Experience

    • Proficient in the use of Office 365 software
    • Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent organisation skills
    • Team player and ability to work well under pressure and work flexible hours, as required
    • Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility
    • Ability to build effective relationships and rapport across the Company, at all levels and be capable of building and managing external relationships
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Project management skills
    • Self-starter, proactive, uses initiative
    • Professional manner at all times
    • Good telephone manner
    • Previous administration experience (supporting multiple senior level leaders advantageous)
    • Ability to deal with difficult calls and find solutions in stressful situations
