  • Position Overview

    Our Distribution group is currently seeking a National Accounts Manager to join our team.

    Key Responsibilities & Duties Include, but not Limited to

    • Maintain, support and grow new and existing strategic relationship with COIs at independent and regional broker dealers;
    • Coordinate all aspects of strategic alliances, senior management relationships/contacts, and revenue sharing programs;
    • Coordinate marketing, sales, and service support activities for these accounts with sales management, wholesalers and support staff;
    • Promote the sale of managed accounts, mutual funds, and related investment products for distribution partners;
    • Proactively grow market share, developing strategies to capitalize on key opportunities and target market penetration and profitability levels;
    • Strengthen positioning with assigned intermediaries.

    Ideal Qualifications and Experience

    • At least 10-12 years’ experience with significant relationship management, sales and or product management experience, along with proven leadership skills. Broker Dealer experience a plus;
    • Strong understanding of the capital markets and macro-economic environment; ability to articulate analytical capabilities, understand and analyze all investment strategies; understand competitive landscape to articulate our relative advantages or performance;
    • Collaborative in approach; able to effectively leverage all internal resources across the Distribution value chain; drive campaigns through collaboration across departments, including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, affiliates, and Product; 
    • Extensive understanding of platform demand; able to tailor client approach, identifying the appropriate products and vehicles (i.e. understanding of research recommended lists, product availability, model exposure, where sales are going within each system, and where the firm aligns within each system)
    • Demonstrated success and experience driving results in a collaborative, matrixed organization; ability to effectively influence across departments and levels;
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills;
    • Flexible and adaptive in approach;
    • Ability to use sound judgment in negotiation and pricing discussions;
    • Extensive travel required.
